Explore the most expensive and nicest areas of South Calgary, featuring luxury homes, top communities, and sought after locations for buyers looking for premium real estate and lifestyle appeal

THE MOST EXPENSIVE AND NICEST AREAS OF SOUTH CALGARY

South Calgary is one of the most interesting parts of the city because it blends family friendly communities with some of Calgary’s most exclusive luxury neighbourhoods. When people think of high end real estate they usually picture the west side or the inner city. But the south region has a quiet collection of upscale pockets that compete with any community in Calgary for scenery, privacy, and local lifestyle.

I grew up in this part of the city and I have sold homes across every corner of the south region since 2012. I know the neighbourhoods, the schools, the parks, and what each street actually feels like when you drive through it. This feature covers what I consider the most expensive and nicest areas of South Calgary based on experience and real day to day appeal.

This guide helps buyers understand where luxury homes cluster and gives current homeowners a sense of how their neighbourhood fits into the larger south region. If you want a complete neighbourhood breakdown you can check out my full South Calgary living guide.

Eagle Ridge regularly sees home prices over five million dollars and is consistently ranked among Calgary’s most expensive neighbourhoods overall. It sits next to Heritage Park, Rocky View Hospital, and the Glenmore Reservoir pathway network. Many of the homes feel like private estates inside the city.
